Do you cover the whole of the North West?

Yes — Cheshire, Merseyside, the Wirral, Warrington and Greater Manchester are all within our area, and we restore campers for owners across the region.

Can you collect my camper in the North West?

Yes — we run a collection service across the North West, so an off-road or non-running project is no problem.

Where is your workshop?

Our restoration workshop covers the North West and North Wales — call 0300 124 6982 and we will arrange collection or a drop-off time.

Which classic campers do you restore?

All of them — VW Type 2 split-screens and bay windows, Bedford CF, Commer, Ford Transit, and conversions such as Devon, Danbury and Dormobile. If it is a classic camper, we can help.

Do you do full restorations or just repairs?

Both. We carry out everything from a small welded repair or a recommission of a barn-find, right up to a full nut-and-bolt, bare-metal restoration — whatever your van needs and your budget allows.

How long does a restoration take?

It depends entirely on the van and the scope. A partial repair may take a few weeks; a full restoration is a major project that can take many months, because it is done properly, one stage at a time. We give you a realistic timeline once we have assessed the van.

How much does a classic camper restoration cost?

There is no single answer — the cost reflects the condition of the van and how far you want to take it. After an inspection we give you a clear, itemised quote, and on larger projects we can work in stages so the cost is spread and you stay in control.

Can you repair rust and rotten metalwork?

Yes — this is the heart of most restorations. We cut out the rot and fabricate and weld in fresh metal to panels, arches, sills, floors and chassis. We never simply fill over rust; it always comes back if you do.

Do you paint and respray?

Yes. We prep, prime and spray full and two-tone respray in period-correct colours, matching original shades and blending panels for a deep, even finish.

Can you rebuild or re-trim the interior?

Yes — we build and fit cabinets and units, re-upholster seats and rock-and-roll beds, and finish with curtains, flooring and headlining, either faithful to the original or to your own specification.

Do you rebuild engines and mechanical parts?

Yes — including air-cooled engine rebuilds, brakes, steering, suspension, gearbox and clutch, plus servicing and tuning, so your classic is as reliable underneath as it looks on top.

Can you sort the electrics and wiring?

Yes — we repair and replace looms, sort 12V and leisure electrics, lighting and hook-up, and trace faults, bringing tired old wiring up to a safe, reliable standard.

Do you restore chrome and brightwork?

Yes — bumpers, trim, badges, emblems, lights and lenses are all part of the finishing touches. We refurbish, replace and re-fit brightwork to complete the look.

Can you keep the original patina?

If that is what you want, yes. Not every owner wants a shiny full respray — many love the character of an original, patinated van. We will make it solid, safe and reliable while preserving the look you love.

Do you take on barn finds and project vehicles?

Absolutely — barn finds and unfinished projects are some of our favourite work. We will assess honestly what is there, what it needs and what it will cost to bring back.

Can you source parts?

Yes — we source genuine, reproduction and hard-to-find parts for the classic marques we work on, and fabricate where a part is no longer available.

Can you get my classic through an MOT?

Yes — we recommission, repair and prepare classic campers for the road and for MOT where required. Many older classics are MOT-exempt, but we always make sure they are genuinely safe.

Where are you based and do you collect?

Restoration work is carried out in our workshop. We cover North Wales and the North West and can arrange collection and transport of your van — just get in touch and we will sort the details.
